AE Dowse & Son is a long established firm of Fine Art and Antique Auctioneers. Located in the centre of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, easily accessible from junction 33 on the M1 Motorway.
The company was started by Arthur Edward Dowse in 1915, continued by his son and is now run by the third generation of Dowse auctioneers.
We hold a minimum of twenty-eight auctions each year, which include:
- Fine art and antiques
- Antiques and collectors items
- Diecast, tinplate and collectors toys
- Deceased estate clearance auctions
All auctions are held on a Saturday. Parking and refreshments are available on sale day. Our diverse auction calendar enables us to successfully sell any chattel, from the finest painting to modern furniture and effects. We have held specialist toy auctions for over twenty years.
Our city centre complex of over 6000 square feet houses two auction rooms, offices and storage facilities.
